Meri kismat bata hay meri kya khata
Kin ghunahoon ki muj ko mili hay saza

Kaisa ulfat ki duniya ka dastuur hay
Aarzu jurm hay pyar majboor hay

Kitni mehngi pari phool ko ek hansi
Shaakh se duur hay aur chaman se juda

Jis ki khatir liye mool duniya k gham
Aaj us k hi hathoon uthaye sitam

Tuj ko meri kasam aye mere dil na ro
Is jahan main yehi hay wafa ka silah
