Launch of e-Kahani Service at Mobilink WAP Portal

Mobilink believes in providing its valued customers with a complete family package, catering to all ages – old, young and even the youngest. Following this very vision, Mobilink brings a new service for all the kids in your family, ‘e-Kahani’, the treasure-trove of children tales in Urdu. Story telling is now made simpler and better by this very service – audio with light background music and sounds makes it all the more arresting. These extremely engaging short Urdu stories can be used for their education and entertainment at the same time. Details of the service are listed below.



Service Mechanics:



· User needs to log onto the Mobilink WAP Portal (wap.mobilinkworld.com) and click on ‘e-Kahani’.

· User will be provided with 3 options for every story:

o View

o Download

o Login


View:

User will click ‘View’ for selected story and enters the mobile number.
On submitting the number, user will received receive a message in the following format:
“Please reply to this message with Y to view ‘Choti’. PKR 10+Tax.”

After replying to the above message with Y, user receives another message with a link.
User needs to retrieve the link to view the selected story.


Download:

User will click on ‘Download’ for selected story and enters the mobile number.
On submitting the number, user receives the following message:
“Please reply to this message with Y to download ‘Choti’. PKR 50+Tax.”

After replying to the above message with Y, user receives another message with a link.
User needs to retrieve the link to download selected story on the handset.
The story will be saved on the handset and can be viewed later.


Login:

User clicks on login and enters the mobile number.
User either has to subscribe or if already subscribed has to enter mobile number and password.


For subscription:

User opts for subscription and in return receives a message in the following format:
“Please reply to this message with Y to subscribe to eKahani for one month. PKR 50+tax.”

After replying to the above mentioned message with Y, user will receive a confirmation message:
“Thank you for subscribing to eKahani. Your login information is as follows: User Id= 923001234567, Password= abcd; your subscription is valid till 10/5/2008.”
Once subscribed, user can view any story of his/her choice free of charge for a month.


Note: User needs to have GPRS enabled on his/her handset.

Charges:



· GPRS: Standard GPRS charges will apply for browsing the link.

· View: Rs. 10/story

· Download: Rs. 50/story

· Login: Rs. 50/month (User can view any amount of stories in that particular month free of charge)



Handsets Compatibility: All handsets that are GPRS enabled and have a video player installed are compatible.
