Introduction of Additional Service Charges on Jazz Recharge

Dear All,



Please note that from 6:00 am, 25th September, 2008 Additional Service Charges will be applicable on all recharges including Jazz Load and Scratch Cards:



* The additional service charges will be 5% of the Face Value of a recharge. Hence, whenever a Jazz subscriber recharges any amount via scratch card or Jazz load, he will be posted balance worth of 85.91% of the face value of the recharge i.e. both the Advance Income Tax and Additional service charges will now be deducted at the time of recharge.



* For Scratch cards and Jazz Load, the following exact calculations will now hold correct:

Denomination=100
Value Posted Currently=91
New Valut to be Posted after deduction advance Income Tax and Additional Service Charges= 86

Denomination=300
Value Posted Currently=273
New Valut to be Posted after deduction advance Income Tax and Additional Service Charges= 258

Denomination=600
Value Posted Currently= 545
New Valut to be Posted after deduction advance Income Tax and Additional Service Charges= 515

Denomination=1000
Value Posted Currently= 909
New Valut to be Posted after deduction advance Income Tax and Additional Service Charges= 859





This change will be applicable on all scratch cards and Jazz load transactions.

For calculation of posted amount multiply Jazz Load/ Scratch Card amount with 0.8591 (85.91% of face value) e.g. 1000*0.8591 = 859.
